The Pine Ridge Recreation Center is a wonderful place for members to enjoy the outdoors and visit with neighbors.  It includes a beautiful swimming pool which is staffed by certified lifeguards.  There is also a kiddie pool where our youngest residents can cool off on a hot summer day.  The landscaping throughout the pool area adds to the relaxing atmosphere.  Inside the pool perimeter is a gazebo that is perfect for family parties.

Additional amenities include two tennis courts next to the pool, a sand volleyball court, and toddler playground.  For a fun basketball game friends sometimes gather in the parking lot to shoot hoops on a court there.

The approximate 350 homes that Pine Ridge Recreation serves find the facilities centrally located and enjoy having this park-like setting very close to home.   The yearly membership fees for this Association are $202 (in 2006) which is due the first of March.

Communities belonging to Pine Ridge Recreation Association include:  Bayview, Baywood II, Cobblefield, Harbor Ridge, Heather Stone, Hickory View, Island Pines, Orchard Phase 1 (tennis only), Orchard Phase 2 (tennis only), Orchard Phase 3 (tennis and pool), Pond Woods, Red Brick, Vineyard, Wick Lane, and  Village at Island Pines. Prices of homes range from $125,000  to $500.000.

Our board members are Pete Donnellan, Mike Quinn, and Pat Lunn.  They are volunteers who are dedicated to the upkeep and quality of services and facilities that Pine Ridge Recreation has to offer.
