Role of The CSA Board

The CSA Board  is comprised entirely of 11 volunteers who are elected to serve two year terms as Board members. Elections are held each year at the Annual Meeting of Members. This meeting is open to every Landen homeowner. 

The association acts through its Board. Specific powers and responsibilities charged to the Association & the Landen CSA Board by our governing documents and State law include, but are not limited to:

  • The enforcement of the goals, standards and policies set forth in the
    governing documents.
  • The ability to collect assessments.
  • The ownership and maintenance of the common areas and facilities.
  • The maintenance of financial stability.
  • The purchase of adequate insurance.
  • Entering into and supervision of contracts for services.
  • Holding monthly CSA Board Meetings & Annual Homeowners Meeting.
  • The appointment of members to the Design Review Board (DRB).
  • The creation and supervision of committees.

    The Landen CSA contracts with an outside management company, Towne Properties, to operate and maintain the community under the Board?s direction.

Property owners are always welcomed and encouraged to attend our meetings!  The CSA Board was created to serve the best interest of all property owners and is always available to listen to suggestions, concerns or to answer questions.
